Meanwhile, Rockland County Executive Ed Day and Health Commissioner Dr. Patricia Schnabel Ruppert announced an amendment to the ‘Commissioner’s Standing Isolation Order’ separating sick people from healthy people to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
The updated order directs residents who have tested positive or have symptoms to remain in isolation at their residence or another place away from other people in their home for at least 10 days, they said in a news release. The order previously stipulated seven days as advised by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the release said.
